Charakteristik: Aroma: Süß, Eiche, phenoliger als sonst, weniger rund, dennoch gelungen und typisch.
Geschmack: Weich, mundfüllend, schmelzend. Ölig und verbrannte Lakritze. In der Mitte ausgeprägter Malz und Roggencharakter, das allein ist den Versuch wert.
Im Nachklang leichter, malziger als man erwartet, sanfte Eiche zum finish hin. Pfeffrige Würze und wieder Roggen und Malz.
Ausbau: White Oak Barrel, No. 15-4295, Rick No R-2
Besonderheit: Einzelfaßabfüllung, charcoal mellowing, sour mash whiskey.
Wenn auch die batches unterschiedlich sein mögen, wahrscheinlich der beste Jack Daniel's. Das liegt vielleicht auch mit am Alkoholgehalt von 45,0% vol.
